If you are seeking to develop your skills and expertise in working with adults living in the local community experiencing severe mental health problems, you will be an integral member of a dynamic multidisciplinary team offering creative and consistently high-quality evidence-based interventions.
You will have the opportunity to access training and develop skills in working within specific pathways, for example, with patients experiencing personality disorders or rehabilitation of patients experiencing ongoing psychosis.
Please note: applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check. Costs are deducted from salary following appointment. The cost of the DBS application is £26.40 (standard) or £54.40 (enhanced). This cost will be deducted from your salary over the first 2 months of employment.

The role involves working with adults with mental health needs in their own homes, contributing to assessments and interventions, undertaking nursing, therapy, and social activities as delegated by relevant professionals. You will often work without direct supervision in the community and need to be flexible and holistic in your approach to respond to clients’ needs. Promoting patient recovery and working with partner agencies and primary care to ensure timely and safe discharges from secondary care are key responsibilities.
We seek enthusiastic team players to work within a dynamic multidisciplinary health team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and experience managing complex cases in partnership with other agencies.
