Job summary

Cheshire East Council is seeking 5 Casual Community Support Workers to join the Crewe and Nantwich Supported Living Network. Roles are 0 hours per week with pay of £13.26–£13.47 per hour, including enhanced pay on weekends and holidays.

You will provide 24-hour person-centred support to individuals in their own homes, helping with daily tasks, personal care, and community engagement. Full induction is provided, with shifts across 8am–10pm and optional sleep-ins.

Qualifications

  • Must have excellent spoken English.
  • Flexible and reliable.
  • Compassionate and respectful.
  • Must hold a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

  • Provide 24-hour person-centred support in individuals' homes.
  • Assist with personal care and daily living tasks.
  • Administer medications as trained.
  • Assist with budgeting and money management.
  • Support community engagement and tenancy maintenance.

About the Role

You’ll be part of a team providing24-hour person-centred support, helping people maintain their tenancies, manage daily living tasks, and achieve their personal goals. Support includes:

  • Personal care
  • Medication administration
  • Food preparation
  • Managing finances
  • Community engagement

We work closely with individuals, families, and professionals to ensure services reflect each person’s choices, aspirations, and preferences.

About you

No experience? No problem!
We provide a full induction, ongoing training, and support. What matters most is that you:

  • Are compassionate and respectful
  • Have excellent spoken English
  • Are flexible and reliable
  • Hold a full UK driving licence
  • Can work a rota including alternate weekends and bank holidays (Shifts between the hours of 8am––10pm, with optional sleep-ins)
