Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting a Female Community Support Worker in West Cumbria to support a female resident in her own home.

Contract: 12-week Temporary to Permanent (No sponsorship available)

Hours: Full Time, 12-hour Shifts, Monday – Sunday

Rates: Umbrella Ltd Rate: Weekday Day: £15.36ph; Equivalent PAYE Inclusive: Weekday Day: £13.63ph

We are seeking an experienced, passionate, and patient Support Worker dedicated to helping individuals reach their maximum potential.

The successful Support Worker will care for the client on a live-in or home visit basis, providing one-to-one support in a calm and secure environment. The role also requires proactive engagement in regular supervision and setting a good example of best practices.

Person Specification

• Minimum 2 years’ experience working within Mental Health services, including DID, Eating Disorders, and self-harm.
• Strong communication and engagement skills.
• Car Driver with Full UK Licence.
• Caring and empathetic attitude.
• Fully enhanced DBS clearance.
• Female candidates only, as this is an occupational requirement under the Equality Act 2010.
