Barca Community Support Navigators work across Leeds with individuals who have experienced homelessness or housing issues. Our aim is to support them into accommodation and help sustain their tenancy. We work with people facing complex issues such as homelessness, substance misuse, mental health challenges, and a history of offending behaviour.
We seek individuals who are passionate, resilient, and enthusiastic to join our Navigator Team.
Our approach is person-centred, focusing on building strong relationships with those we support. We need driven and energetic individuals who can work closely with other services to help people access necessary support and interventions. The role involves working with individuals who may have a high street presence, requiring collaboration with our Street Support partnership agencies.
We value proactive and creative problem-solvers who understand and care about individual needs and are resilient in facing challenges. Building trust can be difficult, but with consistent support and being a key contact, we aim to achieve positive outcomes.
We encourage applications from individuals with lived experience of multiple disadvantages, recognizing the valuable perspective they bring, even if they lack formal work experience.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults. Successful applicants will be required to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Check appropriate to the role. A criminal conviction does not necessarily exclude candidates.
