Job summary

Dorset HealthCare's District Nursing team in Christchurch is seeking a Community Staff Nurse to provide high-quality care to people in their own homes. Vacancies are 30 hours per week with weekend, late shifts and bank holiday work pro rata; fixed term with secondment options for NHS staff.

Newly registered or experienced nurses are welcome; driving is essential. The Trust offers a supportive preceptorship and ongoing clinical upskilling. DBS check will be funded by the Trust.

Qualifications

• Newly registered or experienced Community Staff Nurse.
• Must drive and have access to a car.
• No visa sponsorship; right to work in UK required.
• Enhanced DBS check required and funded by the Trust.
• Secondment options may apply for NHS staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in their own homes.
• Deliver palliative/End of Life care, IV drug administration, and diabetes management.
• Work as part of the District Nursing team with colleagues and training provided.
