Job summary

Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Community Staff Nurse to join our District Nursing teams in Weymouth and Portland. You will provide high-quality, person-centred care in patients' homes, including wound care, palliative care and diabetes management.

Training and development are emphasised, with opportunities to upskill within a supportive multi-disciplinary team. The role is full-time, with weekend and late-shift requirements (until 20:00) plus bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver wound care, palliative care, IV drug administration, injections, diabetes management and other home nursing tasks.
• Assess patients' care needs and develop programmes of care as part of the wider multi-disciplinary team.
