Job summary

Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Community Staff Nurse to join the West Berkshire Community Nursing team in Thatcham. You will work across the community to assess, plan and deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in their homes, including complex wound care, palliative care and medication administration.

We offer induction, ongoing training and clear pathways for development and progression.

Qualifications

• Registered General Nurse (RGN), NMC registration.
• Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Able to work flexibly across 7 days service requirement.

Responsibilities

• Holistically assess patients and plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Undertake first visits and escalate as needed to the Team Leader or Matron.
• Establish relationships with other professionals and voluntary agencies.
