Job summary

Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust in Thatcham is seeking a Clinical Lead to shape and deliver education within our Community Nursing Team in West Berkshire. This strategic role requires the ability to develop training packages, assess learning needs and ensure staff are competent in current and new clinical skills.

You will work with the Service Manager and Leadership Team to create robust career pathways, support recruitment and staff development, and model compassionate, high-quality

Qualifications

Current NMC Registration
Specialist Community Practice qualification (DN Degree, diploma or Certificate in District Nursing)
Willing to undertake Advanced History taking qualification within 6-12 months
Willing to undertake Non Medical-Prescriber Qualification within 6-12 months
Educated to Degree Level

Responsibilities

Deliver fundamental elements of education and training across the Community Nursing Services
Support the Service Manager in developing career pathways to aid recruitment and staff satisfaction
Work with clinicians and mentors to develop clinical skills and ensure evidence-based practice
Design and deliver training and development programmes on a range of topics
