Shift pattern: Monday-Sunday, 08:30-16:30 and 13:30-21:30, including weekends and public holidays.
You will deliver accessible, high-quality, culturally sensitive nursing care to all age groups in the community, working collaboratively with service users, care providers, and other agencies during Out of Hours. You will operate as an autonomous practitioner, supporting the district nursing team with your expertise and experience. Your responsibilities include providing skilled nursing interventions, managing delegated activities, and supporting team members under the supervision of the District Nurse.
The Out of Hours district nursing service operates 365 days a year with an open access policy, enabling prompt responses to urgent care requests.
This role involves participation in weekend and public holiday rotas. A current driving license is essential. PVG Scheme Membership/Disclosure Scotland check is required.
