Qualifications

• Specialist assessment and treatment of clients with acquired neurological conditions with swallowing and/or communication impairments.
• Early Supported Discharge Team (ESD) for Stroke involvement.
• Act as a resource to other staff and promote understanding of the SLT role within the MDT.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist SLT services across homes, clinics, and community facilities.
• Collaborate with GPs, acute hospitals, and other agencies to facilitate referrals.
• Train and support nursing staff, students, therapy assistants and others.
