Job summary

Rutland County Council is seeking an experienced Team Manager for the Community Team in Oakham to lead and inspire a social care team, ensuring high standards and strong partnership working.

You will provide professional guidance on adult social care practice, oversee complex cases, and promote independence and wellbeing within the Integrated Care System. A DBS check and Social Work England registration are required; a driving licence is essential to travel across the county.

Qualifications

• Experienced in line management and responsibilities.

• Able to collaborate with colleagues across Adult Social Care and Integrated Care System.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of social workers and support staff to deliver high standards.
• Provide professional guidance on adult social care practice and oversee complex cases.
• Support, supervise and performance manage the team across Adult Social Care.
• Collaborate with Integrated Care System and external partners to promote independence and wellbeing.
• DBS check processes will be undertaken; costs covered by Rutland County Council.
• A full driving licence is required to travel across the county.
