Rutland County Council is seeking a MiCareSupportWorker to help adults develop and maintain daily living skills, including personal care, and to support participation in community life.

You will undertake health-related tasks such as prompting medications, assist with physiotherapy exercises, and you must obtain an enhanced DBS check funded by the council; a full driving licence is required to travel across the county. Comprehensive induction and funded qualifications are provided.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
• Comprehensive induction, a personalised training plan, and full funding to undertake the QCF Diploma and Level 2 Health and Social Care qualifications.

Responsabilités

• Support adults in developing and maintaining daily living skills, including personal care.
• Assist with tasks such as washing, dressing, showering, meal preparation, household activities, and community participation.
• Carry out delegated health-related tasks, including prompting prescribed medication, creams, eye/ear drops, catheter care, and assisting with physiotherapy exercises.
