Job summary

Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service is seeking a Community Safety and Partnership Manager to lead the Prevention team, shape partnerships, and drive targeted safety initiatives across Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes.

You will oversee a small team, develop influential partnerships with healthcare and adult social care, and turn relationships into practical prevention actions that protect vulnerable communities and improve safety outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in developing and maintaining partnerships to achieve outcomes.
• Experience in leading or supervising staff and managing performance.
• Ability to assess risk and manage complex or sensitive situations involving vulnerable people.
• Ability to use data, insight and evidence to inform decisions.
• Excellent communication, influencing and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Community Safety Coordinators with coaching and performance management.
• Strengthen partnerships with healthcare and adult social care to improve outcomes for vulnerable people.
• Identify opportunities for partners to support prevention activity and improve referrals.
• Use data and risk trends to inform priorities and evidence-based decisions.
• Develop, deliver, monitor and evaluate targeted community safety initiatives.
• Coordinate hoarding and self-neglect responses with multi-agency partners.
• Support strategic prevention projects and seasonal campaigns.
• Monitor impact and value of prevention activity and partnerships.
