Full Time (Monday – Friday – hours flexible) fixed term for 12 months to cover maternity leave
We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated Community Safety Development Officer to work within the Community Safety Team for the period of 12 months to cover maternity leave.
The main focus of this role is to work with partners to identify and manage strategies to understand community safety issues as well as overseeing the development and implementation of interventions.
Communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role as well as the proven ability to deliver services. Ideally the candidate will have some experience or knowledge of community safety issues that affect nieghbourhoods and problem-solving techniques used to tackle these issues.
You should be competent in using IT systems to record project implementation and management. A full, current driving licence is desirable, and it is essential that you have a willingness to occasionally work out-of-hours work.
