Location: National (Remote with Travel Across Scotland)
Penumbra is seeking a Practice Development Officer to work within our Self-Harm Network Scotland service. This role involves community-based development and confidence-building activities across Scotland, collaborating with organizations from schools to NHS and third sector services such as homelessness services, foodbanks, community hubs, LGBTQ+ services, carers services, bereavement support, and other mental health support services.
You will provide compassionate responses to reduce the risk of self-harm and effectively respond to distress in community settings. Your work will include delivering programs like Self-Harm Awareness Training, community support awareness, group work, workshops, drop-in sessions, and parent/carer groups.
Penumbra has been delivering this service since 2021, and you will play a key role in sharing learning and supporting teams across Scotland to implement best practices. We offer a supportive environment, training, employee benefits, and opportunities for career development.
