Store Manager - Chingford
Location: The Co-operative Food, 1-13 Station Road, Chingford, E4 7BJ
Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 per annum plus great benefits
Contract: Permanent

We’re looking for a skilled Store Manager to join our retail team. This full-time Store Manager role offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits.

As a Store Manager, you'll lead your team and implement the store's commercial and community strategies. You will ensure a fantastic shopping experience for customers, colleagues, and members, helping your team grow and learn.

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Empowering your team to deliver excellent service and promoting the Co-op difference.
2. Creating an inclusive culture where everyone feels comfortable sharing their views.
3. Developing your team through regular performance conversations.
4. Ensuring the store is safe, legal, and operational.
5. Managing and optimizing store performance, recruiting new team members, and overseeing HR processes.

You should have experience in guiding and developing a team in a busy, service-focused environment. Strong communication skills, coaching ability, and motivation are essential. Additional requirements include:

• Resilience and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to understand and analyze commercial information.
• Willingness to support the team in store activities.
