Store Manager - Chingford
Location: The Co-operative Food, 1-13 Station Road, Chingford, E4 7BJ
Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 per annum plus benefits
Contract: Permanent

We’re seeking a skilled Store Manager to lead our retail team. This full-time role offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits.

As a Store Manager, you will:

  • Guide the store's commercial and community strategies to deliver its purpose
  • Lead and develop your team, ensuring a great shopping experience for customers, colleagues, and members

Your responsibilities include:

  • Empowering your team to provide excellent service and promote the Co-op difference
  • Fostering an inclusive culture where everyone can share their views
  • Conducting performance conversations to support team growth
  • Ensuring store safety, legality, and operational standards
  • Managing commercial performance, recruitment, and HR processes

Ideal candidates will have experience in team leadership in a busy, service-focused environment, strong communication skills, and the ability to motivate and inspire. Additional requirements include resilience, problem-solving skills, and the ability to analyze commercial data.
