Qualifications

• Completion of a Foundation Degree / HNC in related field.
• Considerable experience of working with drug users.
• Ability to assess needs and provide recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Accept referrals and assess needs as part of a duty system.
• Provide harm reduction advice focused on safer drug use.
• Assist with comprehensive assessments and care plans.
• Deliver structured psycho-social interventions including CBT.
• Facilitate group work interventions.

Skills

Knowledge of substances and their effects
