Job summary

Caritas Diocese of Salford is recruiting a Homeless Prevention Team Leader for Cornerstone Day Centre in Hulme. You will lead staff, volunteers, and peer mentors to deliver trauma-informed housing support, tenancy training, and ongoing community resettlement work.

Candidates should have at least two years of management experience, with strong knowledge of homelessness services, benefits, and housing advice, plus excellent customer service and IT skills.

Qualifications

• Two years minimum management experience with homelessness, housing advice and benefits knowledge.
• Excellent customer service and communications skills (verbal and written).
• Proficiency in IT and administration tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Homeless Prevention Team at Cornerstone Day Centre.
• Signpost clients to internal and external support services.
• Deliver Tenancy Training courses for residents and provide ongoing resettlement support.
