Job summary

Peterborough City Council is seeking Reablement Support Workers to assist clients in the community with daily living tasks. Roles are offered on full-time and part-time basis, with training provided during induction and paid salary. Applicants must have a UK driving licence and access to a car.

Two 35-hour posts and one 16-hour post are available, with shifts including early and late slots and weekend work. Annual salary is pro rata based on 37 hours.

Qualifications

• Must have a UK driving licence and access to a car.
• Experience in care is helpful but training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Support clients with daily living tasks in the community (food prep, personal care, toileting).
• Follow care plans and medication instructions with accuracy.
• Work across 16 or 35 hour shifts and cover every other weekend.
