Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service is seeking a proactive Community Prevention Team Lead to guide the Prevention Team and oversee delivery of home fire safety, road safety and other key safety messages to Cheshire residents and pupils across the region, with a focus on those most at risk.

You will lead and support Prevention Advocates, collaborate with external agencies and fire station personnel, and report to the Prevention Lead, using strong leadership, communication and presentation skills.

Qualifications

• Educated to GCSE level with English and Maths (Grade C) or equivalent.
• Higher national qualification in a care-based subject or relevant experience supporting vulnerable communities.

Responsabilités

• Lead and support a team of Prevention Advocates.
• Oversee delivery of home fire safety, road safety and other safety messages to residents and pupils in Cheshire, focusing on those most at risk.
• Work with external agencies and fire station personnel to deliver prevention activities.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues, partners and the community; report to the Prevention Lead.
