Job summary

Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust in Paignton is seeking a full-time Phlebotomist to join our community-based team providing high-quality blood sampling services in patients' homes across Paignton and surrounding areas.

The role requires a trained phlebotomist with excellent communication skills, a full driving licence and the ability to plan and travel between visits, working within an integrated care framework with community nursing and other services.

Qualifications

• Trained Phlebotomist.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic IT skills and ability to use ICE electronic system.

Responsibilities

• Obtain high quality blood samples from patients in the home environment.
• Deliver high quality care to housebound patients as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Plan and organise day-to-day work tasks and activities.
