This post is for a Community Paediatric Specialty Doctor position in the South West Essex Community Paediatric team. It is based at the Integrated Child Health Service at Gifford House, Thurrock Community Hospital, Long Lane, Grays, RM16 2PX, working within an integrated multidisciplinary team.
This is a newly created, full-time, substantive post—10 Programmed Activities (PAs), with 8 Direct Clinical Contact activities (DCC) and 2 Supporting Professional Activities (SPAs). The Job Description is pending Royal College approval.
The successful candidate will work as part of a fully integrated multidisciplinary team providing care to children and young people with health needs across Brentwood and Billericay, and will be part of a large (30+ community paediatricians) team across North East London Foundation Trust.
There is no night on-call requirement, but the post involves participation in a daytime on-call rota (9 am - 5 pm) for child protection medical examinations.
