Job summary

Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking Speech and Language Therapists to join a dynamic Community Paediatric Therapists team. The role covers work in schools, nurseries, early years settings and patients’ homes, contributing to high-quality care for children and young people.

You will work within a supportive team, familiar with standardised and informal assessments and a range of intervention approaches, ensuring well-coordinated care plans and strong joint working with families

Qualifications

• Familiar with standardised and informal assessments
• Experience with a range of intervention approaches for paediatric SLT
• Good interpersonal and time management skills

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve the speech, language and communication skills of children and young people in designated locations
• Provide liaison and joint working with other staff and parents/carers and across agencies
• Contribute to well-coordinated care plans and high standards of service delivery
