Job summary

Citizens Advice Sandwell & Walsall (CASW) is seeking Community Navigators to provide person-centred, non-clinical support to people affected by gaming and gambling-related harms. The role involves collaborating with treatment providers and local organisations to address wider issues such as debt, housing, benefits and wellbeing.

You will manage your own caseload, maintain records, and help clients set realistic goals, linking them to specialist services.

Qualifications

  • Experience of supporting vulnerable people or working in a community, advice, health or voluntary sector setting.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships and support clients to set goals.
  • Experience in managing a caseload and maintaining records.

Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centred, non-clinical support to people affected by gaming and gambling-related harms.
  • Build trusted relationships with clients and support them to take positive steps towards independence and wellbeing.
  • Connect people with our specialist advice services and work with partner organisations.
  • Manage own caseload and maintain accurate case records.
  • Contribute to community engagement and awareness activities.
