Job summary

Torfaen County Borough Council is recruiting a Community Nature Connector to help deliver the Nature Towns and Cities project across the Torfaen area. The role focuses on running nature-based events, engaging the community with greenspaces and expanding volunteering opportunities, with a fixed term until 31 July 2028.

The post is based in Wales, with flexible hours and some travel across the UK. Welsh language skills are desirable but not essential.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering nature-based events and activities.
• Experience supporting people to access greenspaces and working with volunteers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nature-based events and activities as part of the Torfaen Healthy Planet, Healthy People project.
• Support community access to greenspaces and grow volunteering efforts.
