Job summary

Torfaen County Borough Council is seeking candidates to help deliver the Torfaen Healthy Planet, Healthy People project within the Nature Towns and Cities programme. The role focuses on creating nature-based events, helping people access greenspaces and coordinating volunteers across the UK as needed.

We offer flexible hours, the option to work from home where appropriate, and occasional travel across the UK.

Do you love nature and helping people connect with it, have experience of delivering nature-based events and activities, supporting people to access greenspaces and working with volunteers and growing volunteering to help support nature? If so, this could be the role for you. We are building a team to deliver an exciting new project, Torfaen Healthy Planet, Healthy People, funded through the Nature Towns and Cities programme.

Nature Towns and Cities is a coalition of public, private and third sector organisations committed to bringing nature and green space to urban areas for everyone’s benefit. This coalition will help to put nature, green infrastructure and heritage at the heart of local decision-making, focusing on those areas that will benefit the most.Home – Nature Towns & Cities
