Natural Resources Wales ( NRW ) in Dolgellau is seeking an Assistant in the Environment Team. The role supports regulatory delivery and incident response across a wide range of stakeholders, helping to improve Wales' natural resources and communities.

As an Assistant within the Environment Team, you will play an important role in supporting the delivery of work that protects and enhances Wales' natural environment while helping to improve the wellbeing of communities across the country.
Working as part of a dedicated team, you will help ensure the effective delivery of NRW's regulatory responsibilities, providing vital administrative and operational support that enables environmental improvements on the ground. You'll work with a wide range of colleagues, customers and partners, contributing to meaningful outcomes for people, places and nature.

Driving is essential to this role. Needed to help manage the fleet vehicles and attend meeting. You must hold a full and current UK driving license.
As an organisation we support flexible working. You will be contracted to the NRW office at the above location and a suitable hybrid working pattern will be agreed on appointment. Any regular face to face meetings or training will be planned in advance.

Natural Resources Wales' Dwyfor & Meirionnydd Environment Team are based in Dolgellau covering a significant Proportion of NW Wales. Undertaking work on Improving - Water Quality; Water Resources and Protected sites. In addition we take a key role in Managing Incidents within our remit.
