Job summary

Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 3 Physiotherapy Assistant to join our Community Team. You will work with physiotherapists and multidisciplinary colleagues to deliver patient-centred rehabilitation in community settings, supporting individuals, families and carers throughout their recovery.

The role involves delivering delegated rehabilitation programmes, assisting with clinical interventions, supporting group sessions, monitoring progress and maintaining accurate

Qualifications

• Provide skilled physiotherapy support to a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions.
• Carry out treatment programmes prescribed by physiotherapists, including supervision.
• Maintain housekeeping tasks and tidiness of the department.
• Responsible for own documentation using Trust software.
• Ability to travel across the Trust sites; driving is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled physiotherapy support to promote independence for patients.
• Carry out treatment programmes prescribed by Physiotherapists.
• Supervise patients in gymnasium or group sessions.
• Maintain equipment and general tidiness; ensure a safe environment.
• Complete accurate patient documentation and reporting.
