Job summary

Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Stroke Rehabilitation Assistant to join our community healthcare teams. The role focuses on supporting frontline NHS teams to deliver high-quality patient care in a community setting.

We welcome applicants who are currently employed within Kent and Medway NHS Trusts or related bodies, with the ability to work in a flexible NHS environment. Driving may be required to fulfil duties, and the post includes a pro rata salary within NHS pay

Qualifications

• Recent experience as a Healthcare Assistant/Worker in a health or social care setting.
• Experience within community healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of up-to-date clinical practices.
• Understanding of the role and remit of Unregistered workers.
• Awareness of developments in the NHS.

Responsibilities

• Be ready to drive to perform duties where required, with a full UK driving licence (or EU equivalent).
• Support clinical teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Follow local policies to protect patients and colleagues and maintain safety.
