We are seeking experienced Midwives to join our Community Midwifery teams, providing care for women and families across various community settings within the Trusts of South East England. This role involves collaborating with dedicated and enthusiastic teams to deliver exceptional maternity care.

Role Description:

Join us during an exciting period of service development. Contribute to shaping our services to support women's choices regarding their place of birth. Candidates must have completed a preceptorship programme and achieved competencies such as cannulation, water birth, and suturing. The role includes participation in an on-call system for community midwifery. Each team is supported by an experienced lead and works closely with local Birth Centers, offering opportunities to gain experience in these environments.

Skills & Experience:

• Knowledge of recent Government and Professional guidelines and their implications for service delivery.
• Motivation for ongoing professional development.
• Experience working in both acute and primary healthcare settings.
• Previous community and hospital experience.
• Ability to adapt practice to meet individual client needs using innovative approaches.
• Understanding of change management theories and their application.
