Supply Star Recruitment Limited in Worcestershire is seeking Community Mentors to support children, young people and adults with additional needs through mentoring and creative learning. The role is based in community settings outside of a traditional school and involves delivering structured sessions and planning to meet EHCP targets.

You will receive full training, including planning, assessment and reporting, and must have a clear Enhanced DBS.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 Teaching Assistant, Level 3 Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
• Experience supporting individuals (e.g. education, coaching, mentoring)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Full UK driving licence with business insurance

Community Mentor – Worcestershire

Pay: £85–£100 per day

Hours: 9am–2pm (term time only)

We are recruiting on behalf of a specialist alternative provision in Worcestershire that supports children, young people and adults with additional needs through mentoring and creative learning.

They are seeking Community Mentors who can build strong relationships, provide structured support, and help individuals work towards their EHCP targets. Full training will be provided, including planning, assessment, and reporting.

This provision operates outside of a traditional school setting, using community-based environments to encourage engagement, confidence, and personal development.

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver mentoring sessions and learning activities
• Plan and track progress against EHCP outcomes
• Build positive, trusting relationships
• Work collaboratively within a supportive team

Essential requirements:

• NVQ Level 2 Teaching Assistant, Level 3 Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
• Experience supporting individuals (e.g. education, coaching, mentoring)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Full UK driving licence with business insurance

Desirable:

• Experience supporting EHCP targets
• Understanding of safeguarding
• A hobby or practical skill you can bring into mentoring (e.g. sport, music, cooking)
