Job summary

Academics Ltd. is seeking a Community Mentor, Alternative Provision in High Wycombe to deliver 1:1 mentoring and educational support for pupils across Buckinghamshire and Berkshire.

You will travel between homes and local learning environments, using a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle; a fuel allowance is provided. The role focuses on helping students with SEN/SEMH and other needs, building confidence and engagement in education, and maintaining detailed progress records.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people in education or mentoring.
• Patient, adaptable and resilient with ability to build trust.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
• Willingness to travel across Buckinghamshire and Berkshire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personalised 1:1 mentoring and educational support.
