Job summary

Kent and Medway Mental Health NHS Trust in Maidstone is seeking a Band 3 Support Time Recovery Worker to deliver person-centred, recovery-focused support in the community.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to help adults with mental health difficulties build independence, coping strategies and access community resources under clinical supervision.

This role also involves maintaining accurate records and contributing to personalised care plans.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with people experiencing mental health difficulties in the community.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Empathy, compassion and patience with a genuine desire to help others.
• Ability to build positive therapeutic relationships and work independently in community settings.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical, emotional and recovery-focused support to service users in the community.
• Support individuals to achieve their personal goals and maintain their independence.
• Assist clinicians with the planning, implementation and review of personalised care plans.
• Help service users access community services, support networks, housing and wellbeing opportunities.
• Deliver psychologically informed interventions under clinical supervision.
• Promote recovery, resilience, wellbeing and self-management.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to high-quality person-centred care.
