Job description

Help build a community where people love to work.

At WellWork, we believe work should feel different. More connected. More inspiring. More human.

We're creating a coworking space where freelancers, founders, remote employees, and small business owners don't just rent a desk, they become part of a genuine community, where people know each other, support one another and enjoy coming to work.

We're looking for someone who brings positive energy wherever they go. Someone who naturally welcomes people, notices the little things, creates meaningful connections and takes pride in building a space that people genuinely want to spend time in.

This isn't simply about managing a coworking space, it's about creating an amazing experience for our members.

About WellWork

WellWork is a thoughtfully designed coworking and community space in the heart of Wokingham.

Everything we do is guided by three simple values:

Generosity. Authenticity. Respect.

These aren't just words on a wall. They shape how we welcome people, support one another and build our community every day.

What you'll do

As our Community Manager, you'll become the heart of WellWork.

You’ll:

  • Welcome every member and visitor with genuine warmth, positivity and enthusiasm.
  • Build relationships, introduce members to one another and create opportunities for meaningful connections.
  • Think creatively about how to make every member's experience better, bringing fresh ideas that add value and make WellWork a place people genuinely love being part of.
  • Create simple moments of connection, celebrate member successes and encourage collaboration within the community.
  • Keep our space looking beautiful, calm, organised and ready for every working day.
  • Lead tours for prospective members, confidently communicate the benefits of WellWork and help convert enquiries into members.
  • Take ownership of the day-to-day member experience, ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
  • Listen carefully to feedback and continually look for ways to improve the member experience.
About you

You’ll probably love this role if you:

  • Bring positive energy that lifts the people around you.
  • Genuinely enjoy meeting people and making them feel welcome.
  • Love introducing people and building communities.
  • Are full of ideas and enjoy finding creative ways to surprise, delight and support others.
  • Are organised, proactive and notice the details others miss.
  • Take pride in creating welcoming, beautiful spaces.
  • Thrive in an environment where every day is different.
  • Believe generosity, authenticity and respect should be part of every interaction.

Experience in hospitality, events, retail, sales, coworking, customer experience or community management would be an advantage, but attitude, energy and a genuine love of people matter most.

The role
  • Part-time: 20-30 hours per week
  • Self-employed contract
  • £13-£15 per hour, depending on experience
  • Flexible hours, primarily weekdays
  • Based in Central Wokingham

As WellWork grows, this role will grow too. We're looking for someone who wants to help shape our community, bring their own ideas to life and play an important part in building something special from the ground up.

What you'll get
  • A beautiful, inspiring workplace in the heart of Wokingham
  • The opportunity to help shape a growing business and community
  • Ongoing training and development opportunities
  • Staff discount at Salty Olive
  • Friday drinks with the WellWork community
  • The chance to work with amazing local businesses, founders and professionals every day

If you're excited by the idea of creating a place where people feel welcomed, inspired and connected every day, we'd love to hear from you.
