An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Community Manager and Project Coordinator to join our team in the Green Algorithms Initiative in the Department of Public Health and Primary Care, one of Europe's leading academic departments of population health sciences. We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate who is proactive, self-motivated, with exceptional communication and project management skills, and experience in managing or developing Communities of Practice (CoPs).
Responsibilities:
The Green Algorithms Initiative, led by Dr. Loïc Lannelongue, focuses on reducing environmental impacts of computational science via open-source tools like the Green Algorithms calculator and GREENER Principles. The project has received nominations and awards for its contributions to sustainable research.
This role is within the Operational Team at CEU, working under the supervision of Dr. Lannelongue and in collaboration with senior scientists and partners across institutions.
The position is funded for two years initially, with part-time applications accepted at no less than 60% FTE. The university promotes diversity and inclusion and requires all employees to be eligible to work in the UK.
