Job summary

The Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a Registered Learning Disability Nurse to join the Salford Community Learning Disability Service. You may start as Band 5 with development into Band 6 within 12 months, in a supportive team dedicated to person-centred care.

You’ll join a multidisciplinary service, delivering compassionate care, promoting health, wellbeing and independence for adults with learning disabilities, and you'll receive a comprehensive induction

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current NMC Learning Disability Nurse registration.
• Evidence of CPD and ongoing professional development.
• Experience with young people/adults who have a learning disability.
• Experience and skill in guidance/support/advice to carers and providers.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred care and promote health and independence.
• Work within a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care.
• Support carers and providers with guidance and advice.
• Travel to different locations across the Trust footprint as required.
