Job summary

Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a registered B6 Nurse to join a busy Integrated Learning Disability Service covering the Lancashire locality, based in the Lancaster and Morecambe area. The role involves working with people with learning disabilities and their families, with a focus on holistic, evidence-based practice.

The post holder will manage a defined caseload, provide supervision to colleagues, and offer clinical leadership within the learning disability team

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with up-to-date knowledge of health policy for people with learning disabilities.
• Adaptability, good communication skills and self-motivation are essential.
• Experienced clinician with proven skills in working with people who have complex needs and challenging behaviour.

Responsibilities

• Defined caseload management.
• Provide supervision to other practitioners (registered and unregistered).
• Deliver strong clinical leadership within the learning disability team.
• Contribute to service development and training initiatives.
