Aberdeenshire Council's Community Learning and Development (CLD) Service seeks a qualified CLD Worker to develop, promote and deliver learning opportunities engaging local communities. You will practice a person-centred approach, be well organised and able to engage with communities at all levels while demonstrating strong leadership qualities.

The post is within the Adult Learning and Communities Team, based in South Aberdeenshire, with a 36.25-hour permanent contract.

Qualifications

• Degree recognised by the CLD Standards Council for interview consideration.
• Experience facilitating community engagement and involvement in decision making.
• Strong commitment to addressing inequality through learning and development.

Responsabilités

• Deliver and co-ordinate adult learning and community development opportunities.
• Focus on literacies, family learning, and accreditation.
• Engage local communities and encourage participation and representation in decisions.
