Job summary

North Lanarkshire Council in Scotland is seeking a Community Learning and Development Worker to lead and support learning and resettlement for communities across the area. You will deliver ESOL, literacy and numeracy support, manage a small team of support workers and work with partner agencies to promote inclusion and positive outcomes for resettled young people, families and adults.

The role requires a CLD Standards Council approved qualification and strong communication and collaboration

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people, families and adults in community settings.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with partner agencies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver learning and support for resettled communities across North Lanarkshire.
• Manage support worker staff and monitor programme delivery.
• Collaborate with partner agencies, third sector and volunteers to support ESOL, literacy and numeracy.
• Monitor, evaluate and report on CLD services.
