Job summary

Nottinghamshire County Council in the East Midlands is hiring Hub Enablement Workers to deliver person-centred day opportunities within community hubs and specialist services. The role supports adults to develop independence and achieve personal goals in a supportive office-based setting.

The post offers both full-time and part-time options with hours including 37, 30, 25 and 19 per week. Candidates should have care experience or be willing to learn, and hold a care qualification or be working

Qualifications

• Care experience or willingness to learn.
• Care qualification or commitment to work toward required standards.
• Basic ICT skills to maintain records and communicate.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal, physical, and emotional support with dignity.
• Deliver activities in line with care plans.
• Administer and record medication as required.
• Assist with transport to access services.
• Contribute to care plans and risk assessments.
• Use equipment safely following training.
• Report concerns or incidents promptly.
• Respond to emergencies appropriately.
• Collaborate with individuals, carers, relatives and professionals.
• Maintain accurate, confidential records.
