Job summary

Mansfield District Council is seeking a Housing Management Officer in Mansfield to join our Tenancy Services team. You will deliver frontline housing management services, including estate and tenancy management, working with tenants, residents and partners to promote tenancy sustainability and create safe, well-kept communities.

The role requires excellent communication, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage a varied caseload in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• Experience of housing management, tenancy enforcement, estate management, or a related field is essential.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are required.
• Ability to manage a varied caseload in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Managing a designated housing patch and providing a visible presence within local communities.
• Delivering all aspects of tenancy management, including mutual exchanges, tenancy changes, breaches of tenancy, and tenancy sustainment.
• Managing estate-related matters and addressing environmental and neighbourhood concerns.
• Investigating and resolving reports of anti-social behaviour and tenancy breaches.
• Working collaboratively with internal and external partners to support vulnerable tenants and improve outcomes.
• Ensuring services are delivered in line with regulatory requirements and the Tenant Satisfaction Measures (TSMs).
