Job summary

East End Homes Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Housing Officer to be the frontline face of our service across local estates. You will manage tenancies, address tenancy breaches and ensure residents’ voices are heard on the ground.

The role involves inspections, tackling anti-social behaviour, welcoming new tenants, and collaborating with repairs and safety teams to keep communal areas safe. A pro-active communicator helps build trust across diverse communities.

Qualifications

• Experience in housing or estate management, including tenancy breaches and anti-social behaviour.
• Ability to communicate warmly and clearly with residents from diverse backgrounds.
• Proactive, able to manage a busy, complex caseload independently.
• Strong safeguarding and health and safety understanding.

Responsibilities

• Be the main point of contact for residents within your patch.
• Carry out inspections, tackle anti-social behaviour, and welcome new tenants.
• Work with repairs, caretaking and safety teams to keep communal areas safe and well-maintained.
• Travel between local estates to support residents and promote community spirit.
