Job summary

Freedom Leisure in Ashford is seeking a Healthy Communities Leader to deliver inclusive health and wellbeing programmes across our centres and community settings. You will engage local residents and partners to boost physical activity and reduce isolation.

Working with the Healthy Communities Manager, you will run diverse sessions, monitor participation, and help evaluate outcomes. Casual hours with training and support provided.

Qualifications

• Six months+ experience in sport development, physical activity, community development or related role.
• Experience delivering community-focused programmes.
• Experience engaging with diverse participant groups.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and support community health and wellbeing programmes across leisure and community settings.
• Facilitate sessions including wellbeing activities and disability-inclusive programmes.
• Engage with residents and community groups to boost participation.
• Build relationships with participants, healthcare professionals and partner organisations.
• Support outreach activities with underrepresented groups.
• Promote programmes through local engagement and marketing.
