Swansea Bay University Health Board is seeking a Band 3 Health Care Support Worker to provide high quality care within the District Nursing service, predominantly in patients' homes. The role requires flexible shifts, lone-working elements, and the ability to travel between sites to support patients and families.

Desirable skills include venepuncture, wound care and catheter care, with induction to work under supervision from a registered practitioner. bilingual Welsh speakers are welcomed.

Qualifikationen

• Level 3 qualification in a health care related subject or equivalent experience with demonstrated competency.
• Knowledge of the Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers in Wales and All Wales Delegation Guidelines (HEIW).
• Knowledge of safeguarding principles (adults/children), GDPR and related confidentiality requirements.

• Assess and contribute to development, implementation and evaluation of individualised care plans.
• Supervise other staff and promote delivery of high quality care.
• Deliver care to patients with complex health needs in patients' homes within the community.
