Job summary

HCRG Care Group is seeking a compassionate Community Healthcare Assistant to support children, young people, and families across homes, schools, and clinics in Surrey. You will work under qualified professionals to deliver universal, targeted and specialist services with flexible/hybrid arrangements.

Based at one of our Office Hubs, the role offers development through eLearning and the Learning Enterprise, with safeguarding and multidisciplinary collaboration at the core of daily work.

Qualifications

• Must have GCSEs including Maths and English.
• NVQ4 / CACHE Level 3 / BTEC in Child Care or equivalent.
• Experience with children and safeguarding.
• Ability to work in a team and independently.
• Good organisational and IT skills.
• Must be able to drive a car and have access to a car for work.

Responsibilities

• Deliver care and support to children, young people, and families across homes, schools, early years settings, clinics, and community venues under supervision.
• Assist with assessment, review, and progress monitoring using structured tools.
• Support universal, targeted, and specialist programmes including Healthy Child Programme and health promotion.
• Run, coordinate, and support training, workshops, and group sessions for families and professionals.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with standards; support admin tasks.
• Follow safeguarding procedures and participate in safeguarding supervision.
