The Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust in Brierley Hill is seeking an Administrator to join the Community Governance Team on a 12-month contract. The role provides comprehensive administrative support to Community Nursing teams and ensures smooth liaison with health care professionals to aid seamless patient care.

You will undertake secretarial duties, coordinate recruitment for community nursing posts, and maintain information systems such as NHS Jobs, ESR and TRAC.

  • Provide secretarial service to team meetings: agendas, minutes, actions, audits, reports and documentation.
  • Manage recruitment for community nursing posts: upload vacancies, check job descriptions, liaise with managers and candidates, conduct checks.
  • Update and maintain information systems used: NHS Jobs, ESR, TRAC.

Job description

An opportunity has arisen for an Administratorto work withinour Community Governance Team on a 12 month contract based at Brierley Hill Health and Social Care Centre. To provide a comprehensive effective and efficient administrative support service to Community Nursing teams. To liaise with other Health Care Professionals in order to assist with seamless transition of patient care. The post holder will be required to obtain information from Health Care Professionals to ensure that high-quality care is provided. You will be a part ofsmall team,youwill be an adaptable and confident team member who alsopossessesexcellent communication skills, both verbal and written, be resilient and enjoy working closely with a team in a demanding environment.,

  • Undertake administration/secretarial duties required for the smooth running of the office that are specific to the role.
  • Undertake general office duties as required, e.g. typing, data inputting/extracting from systems, updating databases, filing, scanning and copying in line with trust policies and procedures.
  • Arrange appointments and meetings, as required, making appropriate arrangements e.g. booking venues, sending out invites, organising equipment.
  • Provide a secretarial service to team/departmental meetings, including the preparation and distribution of agendas and papers, chasing actions, taking minutes, exporting Audits from Amat, report from Datix for Incidents, complaints, risk and assurance actions, proof reading, formatting and support with procedural Documentation.
  • To manage the recruitment process for all posts within community nursing teams. This will include uploading vacancies onto NHS Jobs, checking job descriptions and adverts, preparing interview packs, liaising with both managers and candidates, undertaking employment checks.
  • Update and maintain information systems used including NHS Jobs, ESR, TRAC.
