Job summary

London Ambulance Charity is seeking an Events and Community Fundraiser to secure income and raise awareness in the local community. You will organise major events, third party events, raffles and lotteries, and engage volunteers including schools, groups and individuals to hit income targets.

The post holder will manage volunteer fundraisers and develop a strategy with the Head of Charity, delivering high-profile activities and strong supporter care across London.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level or equivalent level experience.
• Knowledge of current fundraising legislation, including Data Protection Act and Gift Aid.
• Knowledge of the charity sector.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records for stakeholders, including communication history and data protection compliance.
• Review and develop the events and community fundraising programme, identifying growth areas.
• Provide excellent supporter care to fundraisers and supporters participating in events.
• Develop a community and events fundraising strategy with the Head of Charity to maximise income and meet targets.
