Job summary

London Ambulance Charity is seeking an Events and Community Fundraiser to secure income and raise awareness in the local community. You will organise major and third-party events, raffles and lotteries, and engage schools, groups and individuals to achieve income targets.

You will also manage volunteer fundraisers, build relationships with local businesses, staff and volunteers, and help develop a strategy to deliver high-profile events and sustainable funding for the charity.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level or equivalent level experience.
• Knowledge of current fundraising legislation, including Data Protection Act and Gift Aid.
• Knowledge of the charity sector.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records for stakeholders, including communication history and data protection compliance.
• Regularly review the events and community fundraising programme to identify growth opportunities and share insights with senior staff.
• Ensure excellent supporter care to all fundraisers and participants in events or activities.
• With the Head of Charity, develop a community and events fundraising strategy to maximise income and hit targets.
• Grow the network of community supporters by engaging proactive individuals and groups.
