Job summary

ICE Creates in Bolton is seeking a proactive Community & Partnerships Lead to coordinate day-to-day engagement, outreach and partner activity across the borough. You will build relationships with community organisations, NHS and local authorities to increase awareness, referrals and service uptake, ensuring delivery against targets and KPIs.

Working with the Operational Lead and service teams, you will plan events, monitor progress, maintain records and provide concise updates.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating day-to-day community engagement and outreach against clear plans and deadlines.
• Proven ability to work directly with residents, community groups, and underserved communities.
• Strong relationship building to turn conversations into actions, referrals and delivery activity.
• Excellent planning and coordination to manage a busy programme with records and follow‑through.
• Skills using activity and outcome data to monitor progress and report clearly.
• Experience organising events, briefings, drop‑ins or outreach sessions.
• Clear written and verbal communication; adapt messages for different audiences.
• Proactive problem solving and ability to remove barriers.
• Willingness to travel across Bolton and occasional evenings/weekends with notice.
• Commitment to reducing health inequalities and inclusive services.

Responsibilities

• Translate the service engagement plan into a weekly and monthly outreach programme.
• Coordinate day-to-day engagement, marketing delivery and deadlines.
• Maintain a presence across Bolton in community venues and events.
• Build referral and delivery relationships with NHS, Bolton Council and partners.
• Create simple referral pathways for partners with needed information.
• Plan, organise and attend community events and outreach sessions.
• Coordinate funding activity, monitoring and evidence collection.
• Support subcontractor and partner performance with the Operational Lead.
• Generate referrals and improve conversion using service data.
• Provide concise weekly and monthly updates on progress and priorities.
